- Since 2000, I've spent 45 hours a week in my family owned business, Berean Christian Resource Center, in Jasper, AL. It's been, well, interesting to say the least. Independent bookstores are a dying breed, something the 'Industry' isn't doing much to fix. SO, I'm passing the time by relaying some of the adventures we have experienced over the past 11 years. Buckle your seatbelt... things might get 'offensive' ... hehe. Can't wait!! I feel like a mischievous little monkey!!
